Bob Mercer, Carl Icahn, Diane Hendricks, Art Pope, Wilbur Ross, Steve Wynn, Dick Uileihn, all the hidden swamp critters that provide the most money and can stand the least scrutiny.
But Democrats and moderate Republicans are too wedded to their own ineffectual tactics to fight such battles.
Another part of Speaker Pelosi's success was that the progressive caucus in the House was pragmatic enough to realize that every time they got half a loaf, their next legislative goal might be closer. They are NOT the mirror image of the House "Freedom* Caucus.
Well said! And they will keep government shut down while we continue to pay an overburden of taxes while they pay very little in comparison to what they're taking. All we can do is vote them out. And that is up to the individual states. I hate the alleged 'polls' and I hope, pray and believe that the American people for democracy show up at the polls in the mid-term elections as well as 2024. Maybe that should be the name of a new 3rd party..... APD, with the Statue of Liberty as our symbol !!
