this is a grim assessment. at this point we're hoping for outbursts of violence rather than some sort of national conflagration, I guess. it's all pretty terrible.
I live in hope the wall will crack sooner or later, and ONE Republican who actually believes in The System and has yet to be driven out by Teabagging MAGA Chuds will stand up and say, "If we keep supporting this Seditious Sociopath, we won't have a 'Republican Party' to be a member of! I Denounce Donald Trump and all who support him!"
If s/he can survive until the Republican National Convention? That person will win in a landslide because even Democrats will vote for her/him....

All of this sounds like a build-up to significant political violence. Communities will have to invest a significant amount of funding to keep voting places safe for voters.
