Thanks, Professor! Coincidentally, later that day my Substack subscriptions all stopped arriving, which I just noticed earlier today. Now I'm going into the app direct and just saw this. As a confirmed nervous D I'm probably wired to see doom in those charts.
I don’t think he is. Just noting a depressing pattern.
Besides, it’s the third the for this rodeo. Just takes a handful of R’s *not* to come home at the end of the day. And there’s as large a permission structure for them to vote with Harris as I’ve even seen.
Christine, as I mentioned to the professor just now, something has gone awry with my Substack subscriptions. The emails have all stopped arriving. They're not going to spam, so more research to be done. I just went into the app direct and saw your reply. I've noticed a number of folks starting to say if Trump wins, it'll be because the people who voted for him liked what they saw. I'm a little astonished this insight seems to be coming so late. This idea of a late "surge", oddly starting with his recent even more plain outbursts of madness, has been a little more challenging to reason myself out of. The spate of stories this AM suggesting the Post and LA Times are holding back Harris endorsements out of fear of Trump winning just puts another finger on the angst scale. I still agree with you. Surely, as one guy just sarcastically said "The eggs are too high...I'm voting for Trump" won't be the driver to add him to Grover's pedestal!
Seth, great observation. Also I applaud your recognition of President Nixon, one of the greatest Presidents of the 20th Century. I dedicated my thesis and dissertation to him as minimum recognition of his many great accomplishments. Likewise future generations of scholars will document the roll that President Trump will play in a second term of saving our country from the ravages of Socialism and Marxism of today’s Democrat Party. Your perspective is well done.
Well, that’s depressing.

I echo Christine. So you're saying Trump has already won, professor? If not, I'd encourage you to add a note expounding on why all is not lost! :-)
I definitely didn't say that.

What? No Barack Obama?
