What Democrats say about Republicans, and vice versa
County party chairs explain why they dislike each other
Last fall, as part of my ongoing surveys of Republican and Democratic county party chairs, I asked the chairs to describe what it meant to them to be a member of their party. If you missed that, I wrote up the findings here. In subsequent surveys, I asked Democrats what they thought it meant to be a Republican, and then I asked Republicans the same thing about Democrats. I ended up with a sample of 78 Republicans describing Democrats, and 180 Democrats describing Republicans.
